WHO WE ARE?
Women Empowerment & Children Advocacy Foundation, abbreviated “Weca Foundation” is a not for profit organization formed in July 2019 in Ghana with the core purpose of empowering women and also champion Children advocacy in the impoverished rural communities.
The Foundation also seeks to address social challenges faced by the underprivileged in rural communities through social intervention especially in the field of capacity building to empower them and improve their standard of living.

Our Vision
We envision a world without poverty in which women are empowered, uplifted and equal partners in society. Women live in safe, sustainable environments that include adequate food, water, housing, education and health care.
Our Mission
Our mission is to empower women with the requisite skill set, to work their way out of poverty, care for their families, and strengthen their communities in Ghana and beyond.
Objectifies & Activities
We aim to;
- Provide technical and vocational training to bright yet underprivileged Female students in rural communities.
- Provide capacity building for women in rural and urban communities to empower them socially and economically to enhance their livelihood.
- Help improve the standard of health in underprivileged rural communities.
- Undertake social projects such as: the supply of clean and safe drinking water.
- Lobby for funds from other organizations and philanthropies to execute community projects.
- To undertake Multi-level Media Advocacy for Women Equality and Human Rights.
- To promote Good Governance and Democracy.
- To create awareness on Climate Change and Environmental Degradation.
- To educate and create awareness on Girl Child Education and Child labor.
- To undertake projects on Women Reproductive Health.
- To help improve Food Security & Agriculture.
- To undertake Community Development and Poverty alleviation projects.
- To Empower Women for Sustainable Development.
